Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February 1964. Linney is an American actress who is known for her ability to portray strong characters who are also fragile. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. She graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated at the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City. She began to perform in Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded high praise for her performance as a part of Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
