The albums didn't get much attention, and Ford disappeared out of the scene for a couple of years. The smash-hit album Lita was released in 1989 was the trigger for her return. It was a big success for the single 'Kiss Me Deadly,' along with the ballad , 'Close My Eyes forever. Unfortunately, the success that she had achieved was not long-lasting, and for many years she was out of the industry of entertainment. The album 'Black" album debuted in 1995. Her 'Wicked Wonderland" released almost fifteen years after. Her latest album was released in the year 2016 titled 'Time-Capsule. Guitar Player Magazine presented her with the prestigious Certified Guitar Legend Award.
